WESLEY WATSON
Wesley Watson is a Senior at James Madison University, majoring in Theatre Performance (Acting) and minoring in Entrepreneurship. A storyteller and an entrepreneur, Wesley aims to inspire, influence, and entertain.
Wesley has been performing since 2014. He started in color guard, which gave him a strong foundation in performance. Before long, he had joined his middle school’s choir and theatre program. He would continue participating in these extracurriculars until his high school graduation. His days consisted of him going to school from 8:00 am-3:00 pm, and then he would go straight to marching band rehearsal, then a cappella rehearsal, and then wrap up his day with musical rehearsal. Due to this, the performing arts are an integral part of Wesley’s life and identity.
After starting college at James Madison University, Wesley began to explore a lot of the business side of the entertainment industry and hopes to one day become a producer and actor, putting all of his skills to work. Through his studies, he’s been able to learn several different skills in business management and marketing, as he is currently working on his first pitch deck, and has already learned how to value a company, manage a small business, and has done business consulting work for Harmony Harvest Farm in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He has also been active in the School of Theatre and Dance, playing a supporting role in JMU’s 2023 production of Anon(ymous), playing Mr. Zyclo.
When not performing, Wesley can be found with his friends going on spontaneous adventures, or working on his next entrepreneurial venture. Being a brother of Delta Upsilon Fraternity, he is very grateful for the connections he’s made at JMU both inside and outside the School of Theatre and Dance. Above all else, Wesley aims to better himself physically, mentally, and emotionally, and be the best possible version of himself.
Thank you for reading and coming to his page. He hopes you have the best day possible. Peace!
