ANNIE WOGISCH

Hi, I’m Annie! :)

I am a soon-to-be graduate of James Madison University, where my main focus of study is Musical Theatre with a minor in Business! I am originally from Ringwood, New Jersey, which is a short 45 minute drive into New York City (not including traffic, of course). Due to my proximity to the city and my family’s love for musical theatre, I developed an unwavering passion for the arts at a very young age. My mom always likes to remind me that I practically came out of the womb belting Disney songs and would refuse to leave the house if I was not wearing a princess dress.

I began dancing at a competitive dance studio when I was three years old and studied there until I graduated from high school. I continued my dance training as a Musical Theatre major at JMU and as a member of the school’s official dance team, known as the JMU Dukettes. At JMU, I had most recently performed in the ensemble of JMU’s MainStage production of The SpongeBob Musical directed by Kate Lumpkin. In addition to being a member of the ensemble, I also worked alongside Beau Harmon as one of his associate choreographers.

When I’m not on stage or in a dance studio, I try to spend as much free time as I can with my friends and family. I greatly prioritize the current relationships I have and look forward to all the ones I will make in the future. Something I love about the performing arts industry is that you never stop meeting new people! In my work, I look to cultivate strong connections not only on, but also off the stage. I am hardworking, dedicated, and always looking to try new things! Connect with me today on my website anniewogisch.com.
