I’m a Queer woman with an invisible disability who loves to make art! Whether it’s acting, sewing, baking, painting, or crocheting, I’m always busy.
To get a sense of who I am, take this example: when I wanted to be Hermione Granger for Halloween in 4th grade, my father said, “only if you carry an old leather-bound book”. He proceeded to buy me my first of many copies of the Complete Works of William Shakespeare. By next Halloween, I was dead set on being Queen Titania from A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.
As an artist and social justice advocate, I aim to create art and spaces that tell stories truthfully, unapologetically, and allows those who may not have always had a seat at the table to sit in their own power.
Words I live by: Every “No“ is a chance to prove them wrong.”
