My name is Rylan Farey and I am a Senior Theatre Major with a focus in acting and directing! Now for an epigraph on how I got to the point where I am now where you’re able to view my work!

I’m a proud English-American who spent a lot of time moving from place to place while growing up. Moving from coast to coast taught me how to meet new people and make new acquaintances from a young age. Through all the unknowns and questions I had on what I wanted to do with my life. There was some constants that were always there. I always enjoyed to entertain those around me: My family, closest friends, even a stranger I hear mention my favorite soccer team Arsenal. I didn’t just love making people laugh and smile…I lived for it! 

From hosting family game shows during the holidays, to stage productions here at JMU, to even trying my hand with screen acting through various short-films. It seemed to me that I was put on this earth to make people happy and engaged through my work as an artist.

I’m humbled and thankful to have the opportunity to create art professionally in as many capacities as I’m able to. I relish the chance to prove what I can do in the world and I can’t for you to view my work so thank you greatly for your time and have a very lovely rest of your day!”
