MaryKatherine Patteson is a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in storytelling through public relations, photography, film, writing & directing.
Spending most of her childhood in a dance studio, her passion for the arts began at a young age, first as a performer, and now as a designer. At James Madison University, MK is a double major in Media Arts & Design and Theater, and has created overlap in her studies by acting as a publicist for Big Fish, TRAP, A Wrinkle in Time, and the Fall 2024 Director’s Fest. Professionally, she worked at The Muny in summer 2024 in the Marketing department, and is excited to be returning again for a second summer in 2025. Recently, her work has been featured on BroadwayWorld.com, TheaterMania, & the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Aside from digital creation, her other passions include reading, cooking, spending time with her family, online shopping, and the Oxford comma.
