CONNOR MACCHI

MT 2022

Connor Macchi (he/him) originally comes from Massachusetts as the youngest of three boys in an Italian-Syrian family. His passion for musical theatre began at a young age and has allowed him to grow into the person he is today. His time at JMU has shown him his true aspirations and goal to be as versatile of an artist he can possibly be. Training in all three aspects of musical theatre equally has become a staple in his statement as a performer. He believes Michelle Aravena put it best when she said "If you need someone to do all three, call me". This relates to another core belief he has as a person that multifaceted minds make true and unique work.

Along with musical theatre, he is studying a minor in Business with Economic studies and cannot be happier to be able to surround himself with a group of diverse people and minds. He loves to feed off the great and fun energy of other people, and takes his work in a rehearsal room or performance very professionally. His physical and mental health are very important to him, whether that be at the gym or a Sunday brunch, who can really say?
