RENÉE STEELE
In her youth, Renée got her first exposure to theatre taking an improv class in elementary school. It was through this she found a love for performance and general silliness. Working with Richmond, Virginia’s local theatre companies and school she learned the fundamentals of the stage. In her time at JMU, she expanded her craft and her personhood. Renée is now invested in creating and being involved in content that carries meaning and giving a voice to queer lifestyles and what navigating that today means while simultaneously chipping away at the patriarchy.
